The  Food Hut

At The Food Hut, we are often asked if we can cater for business lunches and private parties. This set us thinking and we are pleased to announce that we have recently introduced these two services.

 

Much of the food that we offer for parties and business lunches is based on our highly successful lunchtime menu - and as you might expect, we buy nothing in ready made: we make it all ourselves.

 


 

FINGER  BUFFET A          £6.50  per head based on 50-60 guests.

Quiche slices - fillings can include red pepper, goat’s cheese, spinach and gruyere, Greek vegetable and feta, smoked salmon, quiche Lorraine. (we would supply 3 quiches for 60 pple)

Party nibbles - sausage and red pepper bites,  cheese and pickle twists, cheese and ham twists, pizza and pesto palmiers, marinated chicken wings,

Charcuterie board with olives and cornichons.

Cheese board.

Ciabatta bread and butter.


FINGER  BUFFET B     £ 8.00 per head based on 50 - 60 guests

Party nibbles - sausage and red pepper bites, cheese and pickle twists, cheese and ham twists, pizza and pesto palmers, roasted chicken legs mini goat’s cheese parcels, smoked salmon and cream cheese blinis and tortilla bites.

Ciabatta slices - filled ciabatta rolls (fillings include egg mayo and rocket, tuna mayo and cucumber, home cooked ham, coronation chicken, corned beef and pickle, cheese and tomato, brie and grape and homous and rocket) sliced into finger size sandwiches.

Charcuterie  and cheese board.

Freshly cooked Ciabatta bread and butter.

Home made dips (tzatziki, houmous, guacamole, cream cheese and sweet chilli) with crudités.

Quiche slices - fillings can include red pepper, goat’s cheese, spinach and gruyere, Greek vegetable and feta, smoked salmon, quiche Lorraine. ( we would supply 3quiches for 60 pple)

Fork buffet E        £16.00 per head (50+)

Quiches/tarts/tortillas and frittatas - fillings can include red pepper, goat’s cheese, spinach and gruyere, Greek vegetable and feta, smoked salmon, quiche Lorraine. ( 4 supplied for 80 pple)
Selection of 5 salads - green plus 4 of the following, coleslaw, potato, pasta and bean, waldorf, greek, tabouleh, chick pea and roasted vegetable salad, Caesar salad and garden salad (like a Nicoise, but fish free)  and dressing.
Meat selection- roast chicken legs, a sliced, cooked ham, sliced roast beef.
Poached cold salmon, smoked salmon and prawn platter.
Freshly cooked Ciabatta bread and butter.
Asparagus and Parma ham bundles
Grilled figs in prosciutto
Paella cakes
Cucumber rounds with avocado and prawns
Stuffed vine leaves, sun dried tomatoes and marinated artichokes
Blinis with smoked salmon and cream cheese

    Fruit Platters:  a selection of fruit to act as a colourful centrepiece and to round off your meal. The price per head depends on the market price of ingredients at the time of ordering.

    We are pleased to offer a number of 'one pot' dishes which are available for a minimum of 10 people. Dishes include:

    • Greek Lamb and Olive Stew
    • Spanish Pork and Chorizo Stew
    • Boeuf Bourguignon
    • Hungarian Beef Goulash
    • Chicken, Vegetable, Lamb or Beef Tagine

     

    • Rice, Couscous or Mash are also available at 95p per person.
    • Vegetarian options are also available.
